Hungarian is her mother tongue, which she practices frequently to stay in the loop. Bruckner was born in Hollywood California to a Hungarian father as well as a Russian mother who have since divorced. Her paternal grandfather is German. Her parents are Budapest-born parents who came to Hungary. The family immigrated to the U.S.A. via Italian refugee camp in the year 1984. She has a sister and brother.
