Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics and the 2016 Olympics in London. In addition, she took home a bronze on the balance beam. She was an elite American to win the most medals at an Olympics. In the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal in the team competition, earning her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being among the first Americans to take home back-to-back gold medals in a team. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. She was also an athlete on two gold medal winning American team in gymnastics. In the age of two, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favourite event is doing floor exercises. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honour of her deceased grandma. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards and socks later on. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be released later in the year.
